"Sunrise"
 
I loved the feeling of this image as I was painting it. It seems to me that there is a gentle serenity to this meeting of two friends as they stand close together enjoying the morning sun.
 
This horse painting required a light touch to ensure that I did not intrude upon the peace of the moment by adding too much detail or fussing too much. As such, I kept to two colours only, and made sure to retain the white of the page in key areas so that the scene can 'breathe'.
 
This painting is from last year's stock and has been discounted to clear space. It is a pristine painting without any damage.
