This piece was painted during Red Squirrel awareness week. My Instagram feed was filled with gorgeous photos of these beautiful creatures all week and I couldn't resist this lovely open source photo of a pregnant mamma squirrel.
This painting is something of an invocation: for abundant future generations of these exquisite animals.
