This beautiful deer painting was my first piece for 2024. She slipped in over a few days. Her presence was arrestingly quiet and calm. Every brush stroke felt assured. Rich hints of purple, sepia, gold and sienna playing across the paper, capturing the light flooding her face.
I have a sense that this painting will find a home with a gentle and sensitive soul - someone who would like this serene gaze and warm presence in their home.
