This beautiful creature, the Snow Leopard, is critically endangered.
The more I learn about them, the more I fear that they may vanish in our time. This painting speaks to this: I wanted to celebrate and witness the haunting beauty of these big cats in these times, as well as finding a way to support conservation efforts.
There is hope: other animals have been in this place and been brought back from the brink of extinction by conserted human effort. It is my wish that this will be the case for the elusive and mystical Snow Leopard. With this in mind, I will be donating a percentage of the sales from both the original painting and the print to Snow Leopard conservation.
