Frequently Asked Questions
Can I commission a painting?
Yes. I welcome commissions of UK wildlife and am always delighted to create bespoke work that carries personal meaning. You can learn more about the process on my Commissions page
Can I buy your paintings online?
Simply click the ENQUIRE button below a painting you like on the Gallery page. If it is still available, I will respond to your enquiry and send you an invoice that you can pay through online.
Do you sell internationally?
Yes. Paintings can be securely packaged and shipped both within the UK and internationally. For international paintings we use Prime Lane who are specialist art couriers. Shipping costs are calculated separately and depend on location and size of work.
Where can I see your work in person?
My paintings are regularly exhibited in Cumbria and beyond. Current and upcoming shows are listed on my About page
How long does a commission take?
Commissions usually take between 4–6 weeks, depending on size and my current workload. If framing is requested, please allow an additional 2–4 weeks. However, if you need something more quickly you are welcome to reach out in case I can help.
What materials do you use?
I work mainly in watercolour and all of my work is created using carefully sourced vegan and environmentally conscious art supplies — from paints and brushes to paper and inks. I believe that art celebrating the beauty of wildlife should also honour the natural world in its making.
Do you sell prints?
At present, my focus is on original paintings. However, selected works occasionally become available as fine art prints and they will show up in my gallery. The best way to hear about these is by subscribing to my newsletter, Wild Spirit Watercolour.
Do you sell cards?
I do! These will be appearing on the website soon. In the meantime, feel free to reach out and enquire further.
