"Winter Fox"
Into a silent landscape the red fox comes, taste of winter at its back, rich red fur to keep it warm. It scents the air - alert, vital, awake.
In this painting, I let the paint do its thing, and watched in wonder as it created the textures of the fox's fur. More and more, it feels as if I am simply here to provide the water and the colour - and the subject does the rest: appearing, revealing, announcing itslef.
It feels magical to co-create in this way.
